About the Dentist:

Dr. Scott S. Worlton graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1979 and spent 22 years in the US Army Dental Corps, which offered him a variety of interesting and challenging assignments. He also received additional training in most aspects of general dentistry. Since retiring from the military in 2001, he has worked in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Dr. Worlton's practice philosophy is "Quality and Gentle Dental Care at a Fair Price," and he believes in being honest and open with his patients. He will not tell patients they need work which he truly doesn't believe they need. He is happy to offer a free second opinion to new patients.

He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has taken extra training in Orthodontics from the American Orthodontic Society and in Prosthodontics from the US Army and UT San Antonio School of Dentistry. He is certified in conscious sedation and nitrous oxide administration.


About Cottonwood Dental:
Since July 2003, Cottonwood Dental has been under the ownership of Scott S. Worlton, DDS. Located at the corner of Story Road and W. Walnut HilI Lane, Cottonwood Dental offers full scope dental care including whitening, cosmetic dentistry, oral hygiene, cleanings, root canals, extractions including wisdom teeth, crown and bridge, dentures and partial dentures. They use white, tooth-colored fillings and offer metal free crowns and esthetic veneers. Also, Clear Correct is available to those who do not want conventional braces.

Cottonwood Dental has a staff of four well-trained front desk personnel and experienced dental assistants, one of whom is fluent in Spanish. Additionally, one hygienist is employed part time.

Cottonwood Dental accepts most insurance plans and welcomes new patients to the practice. Dr. Worlton and his staff strive to offer the highest quality dental care in a caring and relaxing atmosphere.
